Uninstall Unnecessary Apps<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If your device has a lot of apps installed, this adds to the demand on the device\u2019s software and slows down its overall performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. First, select Settings<\/em> on the home menu.<\/strong><\/li>
  2. Then select Applications<\/em>.<\/strong><\/li>
  3. Next, select Manage Installed Applications<\/em>.<\/strong> Here you can see how much internal storage you have left.<\/li>
  4. Then select an app.<\/strong> Here, you will see details about the app, such as the app size and cache data information.<\/li>
  5. Next, select Uninstall<\/em>.<\/strong><\/li>
  6. Finally, click Uninstall again to confirm.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You can repeat this process to uninstall any other unnecessary apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you don\u2019t want to uninstall an app, you can clear the app\u2019s cache instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Cache is the computer memory used for the storage of instructions or data. Clearing this may help solve the buffering issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. First, select Settings<\/em> on the home menu.<\/strong><\/li>
    2. Then select Applications<\/em>.<\/strong><\/li>
    3. Next, select Manage Installed Applications<\/em>.<\/strong><\/li>
    4. Then select an app from the list.<\/strong><\/li>
    5. Finally, choose either Clear data or Clear cache.<\/strong> If you choose Clear cache, this will just clear the cache and keep the rest of your information and settings. If you choose Clear data, this will reset the app to factory defaults and clear all the app-related data, including your login information.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
